Polarized Bonia Shade

I've mentioned before about me being quite particular about my shade, the last shade I bought is not really what I want. I happen to pass by Jee Kwong at 7th mile and the tag 'polarized' on the shade attract me. The frame is beautiful and the last thing I check is the price. I was overjoyed to see that every shade displayed is rm138 only! Bought one for myself and my sis was influeced by me to buy hers too. Hahaha..

Used vs Loved

I've received this email from friend and it really touches my heart. I do realise and did faced some people (that might include me) which prioritize material stuff over human being especially friends and family. This email really had open up my heart to not taking people around me for granted.

USED vs LOVED

While a man was polishing his new car,
his 4 yr old son picked up a stone
and scratched lines on the side of the car.
In anger, the man took the child's hand
and hit it many times not realizing
he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers
due to multiple fractures.

When the child saw his father.....
with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'
The man was so hurt and speechless;
he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.

Devastated by his own actions..... .
sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches;
the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.
The next day that man committed suicide. . .

Anger and Love have no limits;
choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely
life & remember this:
Things are to be used and people are to be loved.
The problem in today's world is
that people are used while things are loved.

Let's try always to keep this thought in mind:
Things are to be used,
People are to be loved.

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character;
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

Flowery Hairclip

Love this hairclip ;)

RM8.50 @ Chameleon Alamanda Putra Jaya

I change into my short pant with this purple singlet on and it looks cute so I dig into my closet and found my black mini skirt which I bought last 4 years and worn once only. They look good together!

Finally I've found a top that can be worn with my mini that has been resting in the closet for years. Hopefully I can still fit in with me gaining weight since the time I bought it. Anyway, I bought it at Kota Kinabalu while on vacation with my matriculation roomate.

The reason why I've gained weight might be because of these:

McD for lunch!
Big n Tasty large set, McFlurry Cornetto Chocolate, and Apple Pie

I didn't ate it all on my own, I share it with my dear. It was not for lunch actually, more of just snack. Adui...sungguh m-gemukkan.

House break in!

We were suppose to go to Sematan for swimming time, but bad thing happen and we couldn't leave the house.

I had just taken my bath when I step out of the bathroom, my sis complain that her handphone is nowhere to be seen. She put it on my mom's pillow (she sleep with my mom but that night, my mom is sleeping at another house). I said might have fallen under the bed. After I'm all set to go, I help my sis to look for her phone. While searching for it, I notice a clean cut line at the mosquito netting near the head of the bed. That very moment, my heart start to feel something is not right. I called my sis to check it out and she said she's not aware of that before this. So I went out and ask my aunty did the mosquito netting broken by the cats. She went out and check and said it looks like cut by knife. My sis yell from her room said her room's mosquito netting is being cut too! I was very very scared and sms my mom. She calls back and while talking to her, I ask my auntie to check around for any hole at the gate and that is when I see a big hole not far from the back door of the gate, and not far from the hole, there is a steel bar! I'm shivered!! That steel bar really scare me, remind me of murderer, robber, any criminal! I quickly took photos of all that thing and bring that steel bar into the house.

My mom was in town. I meet her at 1oth mile and make police report.

When back home, my cousin said they found something new! Wooden stick with sharpen end left abandon not far from my sis's window. Late in the evening, my auntie found another wooden stick, with branching sharpen end too! We are so so scared as only female at home. No man!

The thieves fleed away, might be chase away by our one and only surviving dog. That explained all the left behing tools. We quickly fix the net and the gate, put away their weapon and store our staircase in the house. This is the 1st time we encounter such incident.

Anyway, in case if you are wondering, I'm staying in the middle of the jungle so u can see it's all green around my house. We use to have 6 dogs but they died because of contagious dog disease which kill them once they are infected. One of our dog survive after being shot with vaccine. The other couldn't make it. We've bought 3 puppies from SSPCA but they are at the front porch. So now we are quite exposed to danger wihout the dogs to guard the house.

Sarawak Dayak Graduate Association (SDGA) Dinner

This was not planned. My mom is a life time member of SDGA and she manage to buy the ticket on the afternoon of the dinner day. Luckily I brought along one my dress (which I plan to go out with my friend) to my 2nd home. Since I haven't tell my friends about my plan to meet up, so I just go along with my mom..makan free bah..;p

It's the cheapest table, RM500 but since this dinner was unplanned so I kinda have no idea of what the food is expected to be. So when the food arrive, I have no comment and just enjoy it. It was great actually, way better than the one we had during St.Anne Feast Dinner. The menu is basically the same thing, for every dinner you attend. Hot and cold dish, sea cucumber soup, steam fish, chicken, mix vege, fruits, beef (seldom have it at other dinners, maybe this one is to replace the pork dishes).

The best thing about that night is I met my primary school bff, Caroline Mike. But she was in a rush so she left earlier, didn't manage to take picture with her.

ngehehe (^.^)

me and my sister, Catherine

Try to guess our table number ;)

Dato Sri William Mawan is entering the hall, VIP of the night.

Yes Cik Gracie, anything wrong with our photos? :p

It's not easy to take ur own photo this way using this cam, HEAVY! But we try too..hahaha...and notice that girl in Guinness shirt? She's staring at us, might be thinking 'aiyo this girls, got nothing else to do kah..lol?'

Menu of the day!

3 types of hot and cold dish
(my favourite is the yam stick :))

Sea cucumber soup with crab meat
(this is my favourite! and they put real crab meat and not crabstick)

Aroma chinese fried rice
(this is nice, it taste like thai style pineapple rice)

steamed red tilapia thai style
(I don't like eating tilapia if it's not from my fish pond cos it smell 'fishy' )

crispy roasted chicken with salt and pepper dip
(i just notice, 'dip', but it was sprinkle on the chicken, I thought it's the sauce for the chicken)

Black pepper beef

Typical mix vege dish
(but at least the vege are stil crunchy :), i love vege! )

this earring was handmade (except for the beads) by my cousin, Dian who is doing well selling her jewellery in Wales.

for info about SDGA, u may visit their website :)

Suara Emas for that night: Dato Sri William Mawan (mind u, he has great voice! Ala ala Elvis Presley)
