Have u heard of this beauty pageant recently? Initially is was named as Miss Dayak Sarawak Pageant 2009 but when it come to race issue, politician will step into it making it such a big issue. They said it's too racism. Well, I expect Alaric SOh (the organizer) wanted to have a beauty pageant focusing on the Dayak cos when it come to beauty pageant contest, Chinese and Malay usually will dominate the pageant. I'm not being racism here ya, I'm just saying what I see. Take for example, we already have Miss Cheongsam for the Chinese, Miss Fair and Lovely so-called kumang gawai and yet most of the contestants are Malay. So I guess Alaric just wanted to have another beauty pageant for the Dayak. Anyway, in order to calm things down, the name was change to Miss Borneo Beautiful 2009. The grand finale was held at Crown Plaze Riverside Hotel. My dear Crystal has tickets for the dinner and she invited me to go with her. Luckily she did cos if I didn't go, I would never know what happen during the dinner. surprise2. ;)
I was delighted to know that our table is No.1, right at the right side of the stage. So easy for me to take photo. I did borrow my cousin DSLR but it was to bulky so I left it at home. Then my camera low bat just before they announce the winner for the titles and of cos the winner of Miss Borneo Beautiful.
My comment for the whole event is I notice that the contestants are not well prepared or are lack of practise cos their performances and formation on stage are so messy. It is so asyncronized.
Now now, it's time for the hot talks of the day. The finalist 11. I won't deny she is pretty but my my I tell u, her attitude on stage is so bad! I started to notice her during the second performance, the casual wear. She was dancing just like others when during one of the formation, there are 2 contestants who miss the beats and are a few steps behind. Do u know what she did?? She push one of the them! Can u imagine that?! Right in front of the judges!! She can just signal the slow contestant or pad her shoulder gently but u know what she did? She just push her! Gosh! Such a bad attitude. And then she dance like the whole show is about her, as if she is in a club. Girl! U are in a beauty pageant! I thought I'm the only who notice it, my friends did too!
We were quite surprise that she's in Top 5. Oh ya! Lets talk about her talent performance. She perform Belly Dance and I think my belly dance instructor will be so ashamed to see how she dance and she dare to call it belly dance? SHe just wave her hands, shake her boobs. Gosh I just do not know how to describe it. The only thing I like is her belly dance outfit. Nice. ;)
We are so so so happy that she didn't won the title. She falls on 2nd place and she show her 'muka x puas hati'. She really has a bad attitude and terrible stage etique I would say.
Anyway, the winner deserve to win after hearing her answer for the Q&A section, asking about 1 Malaysia concept.
After leaving the place, we proceed to Pavilion, new club right next to Check Inn at Travilion. Nothing special, just a normal club. Similar with others, having 2nd floor and poles for pole dance. Just that this place has a dance floor. We left early cos it's Monday! Next day is a working day, for my friends of cos.
Food doesn't attract us. Hahaha. Our head are focus on the stage most of the time.

Miss Personality, Juliedawati Junaidi.
The lucky girls who won the titles.
Alaric Soh and Miss Friendship, 24 years old Chinese/Kenyah, Annabella Wee. She performed the 1st talent perfomance singing The Last Christmas. She has friendly smile, isnt' she? :)
Battle of the photographers.
My favourite is finalist no.3 (Cynthia John), finalist no.12 (Durin Edward) and finalist no.18 (Anglia Hendry). I like Anglia the most, she has that very sweet smile and a proper way to present herself on stage. Very polite and gentle and not too attention seeker like No.11.
Notice how No.11 perform.
This is wat u call belly dance even tho she is not that good yet but the technique is there. wait till u see no.11.
Ngajat. She needs more practice to improve the gracefulness.
What do u think? This is contestant no.11.
Oh gosh! I didn't know that this can be considered as talent performance.
Miss Talent: Livonia Ricky (Finalist No.10) Miss Friendship: Annabella Wee (Finalist No.1) Miss Photogenic: Anglia Hendry (Finalist No.18) --> my favourite ;) Miss Goodwill: Jennifer Denis (Finalist No. 6) Miss Personality: Juliedawati Junaidi (Finalist No.17)
Are u into getting ur nail done? aka manicure and pedicure? I love to get my nail done and even tho I know how to do it, but it's very messy for me to do it on my own. So when I have extra money, I would prefer to go to nail bar to get it done and usually I choose pedicure cos it lasted longer.
Anyway, I bring my friend, Cynthia to Top Nails at Crown Square for her first experience. So far, this place is not bad. The price is cheaper so far. Rm25 for manicure, RM35 for pedicure. RM3 and above for nail art. Other than these, they also have waxing service for arm and leg, eyebrow trimming and spa treatment for hand and leg. Gentleman services are charge RM8 extra for every services.
Cynthia get a basic pedicure while me, wanted to get a simple nail art. I choose cat paws, painted on both toe nails. Mine is RM41 (RM35+RM6 for nail art) while Cynthia's RM35.
They serve tea too! So..I think if any of u interested to go, the place is not bad, and the manicurists are friendly too.
Chrysanthemum tea..;)
Cynthia tahan kegelian..:)
Having hard time scrubbing my feet?? huhuhu...
Yes Cik Cynthia, kuku dah cantik, bibir pun mesti cantik ker? ;p
Manicure bar at the background.
We went up the escalator 2 times just to get this shot. Hahaha..Gila.
I bought this dress at Crown square for RM48.80..:)
Oh my, two 26th birthday steamboat dinner and consequence day, fuh!
This time, it's Dru's (Cynthia's colleague). We went to Hollywood cafe at 4th mile. They have more choice of food item since not that many people come to this place for steamboat session.
I came immediately after my belly dance class. Since u will be sweating bbq-ing, so I do not bother to go back home to change. ;p..I still look good ma...;)
I know I'm sweating like hell but this is the belly dance sweat, not bbq sweat and I'm not intended to freeze myself into the fridge Cynthia! Ketawa lah kau!
Have u heard of this song before? I love it. But the video clip is boring. If u listen to the song, well, u can get it from the title itself, 'evacuate the dance floor'. I expect her to dance, u know, since she keeps on saying 'evacuate the dancefloor but nope, she can't dance I guess.
I've always wanted to join belly dance class but I just do not have the initiative to call them. I did but since they did not answer my call, terus I give up.
THen Crystal happen to be interested to attend too so now I have companion! ;)...Yeah, finally I've signed up for belly dance class and I love it. ;)...
I'm not good dancer, yet, but I love dancing. When I was little, I was sent for Ngajat (Iban traditional dance) class. That was when I'm 9years old. But I have to stop the following years because of school co-curriculum activity (I join scout, and I love it too! ).
Stepping into secondary school, I was asked to join to perform for Jubilee 2000 celebration in year 1999, I was Form 1 by then. I was selected to be few of the leaders who will attend dancing training from the centre and come back to school to teach the other dancers. What's better to hear when friends seeing u dance and they praise u. ;) The performance went well and we received big applause for it. I'm not sure whether u have attended the celebration at Stadium Sarawak, the old stadium, and if I'm not mistaken, it's on xmas day.
SO yesterday was my second belly dance class, so far I'm doing good. It was not easy cos u have to move certain part while letting the other part of ur body to stay static. Or u have to move a few parts of ur body together and having ur brain focusing on so many parts u become confused. Hahahaha...
Oh! Yesterday friends told me I will know where I will be posted today, but so far, no news posted in the website yet. Huh....I totally have no clue which school I will be posted to, or whether I pass the interview at all. I have issue to solve if I'm being posted to place far away from home. Well, everyone do. Hahahaha
This is another show by Maison Monica Hair and Beauty Academy. It was held in conjunction with Kuching Carnival organized by Sin Chiew Jit Poh, Astro and some other organizations at MBKS Stadium, Pending, on the 22 November 2009.
Initially, I wanted to do Corpse Bride. The theme was movie character, that is what they told me but I was quite puzzled to see the design of other students on the day of the show. Anyway, 1 week before the show, one of the academy trainer call me up to confirm my participation and my design. But then, she ask me a favour to design two more make up drafts each for Spider and Cards model. When I'm done with them, she said I will be doing both of it so I do not have to do my corpse bride. Ok....I was dissapointed at 1st but because I have no knowledge in doing the hair so I can't do the hair without the help from the hair students for my design.
On the day of the show, we started at 10am and have to get everything done by 12pm. 2 hours for 2 make up?! Huhuhu...I was skeptical at 1st but still take it slowly and do as properly as I could. Was glad to finally get it done in the end.
THe show was smoothly run, thank God. ;)
I'm in Sin Chiew Jit Poh 2 days after that..;)
(Thanks to the big spider that attract photographers attention)
My Cards model (only the make up is done by me, not the outfit, not the hair)
Ah Chai, Spider, and Me (finally a photo with my own model after the end of the show)
It tooks me days to upload all of this photos cos I can't upload a few photos at once. Thanks to my cousin, Gracie, for all of this photos. :) I did not pick and choose the photos but upload most of it cos I wanted to share with u..: ) So which is ur favourite?
Hey people, this is a very emotional post. Not in term of sadness but I just feels so unhappy lately. I have things in my mind that I wanted to say it out but I just don't think it's the right time to do it yet since my make up show is on this Sunday and I have to stay focus.
My face can never lie about my emotion. When they is something that bother my mind, it shows on my face. Whether it is sad, angry, confuse, in love or just any emotion..that would include being unhappy, they just shows on my face and my voice tone. When I am angry or unhappy about someone, it shows. But now is not the right time to talk about it because of my show.
All I could say is I don't remember when is the last time I'm happy when I'm with him. If it's not because of the crazy friend that I have with me now, I know I will sink into the darkness again.
Me say: I LOVE IT! I watch this 3 times. The little girl playing Esther is a great actress. She should won Grammy award! Hahaha...why would i say that is because in just one movie, she can plays a few of different character, a sweet young girl, a girl with mature attitude, a mature woman in a girl body, a killer and a psychotic freak! and my favourite scene is the on in the kitchen. Whahahaha...my friend keep on saying, 'bodo eh, xdatmpt lain kamokpolah?'..my say would be 'cool apa'...hahahaha....and our favourite words from the movie, 'i'm not ur f***ing mother!' Ooo....and the girl can really make that 'kena kick' punya reaction bah...so real!
Cloudy with a chance of Meat Ball
Me say: Boring...enough say.
PisauCukur
Me say: I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I've been waiting for this movie since the day I saw the poster. I love kegedikanIntan (Fazura) and the beautiful Bella (Maya Karin). I really did not expect that they have a murder case to be solve. Ooo...i just love this movie.
When is the last time u said "I Love U' to someone u love, doesn't have to be ur gf/bf, but also ur parents, friends, sibling and etc..
I believe that one should not assume that the other person know that u love them even without saying the words. Action may speak louder than words but words help to strengthen the action. Action may speak louder than words but what wud it mean if there is no action and no words at all?
Benedicta says: "I don't remember when is the last time he says he loves me, and I almost forgot that he loves me."
A driver may get tired if he/she is the only one who drive when the passenger can drive too but choose to be a passenger who can just sit and relax. The driver may gives up and leave the car not moving at all.
1st and for most, my laptop 'died' las week and are not able to be safe, 'brain' aka motherboard, damage. My bro let me use his laptop and he is using Windows 7 and my old version modem can't be used on his laptop and end up there is no point of him letting me use his laptop yg terlampau canggih. So i dah lama didn't post anything or upload anything.
Anyway, went for my dear Crystal's birthday at Check In, the karaoke room. So we entertaint ourselves while waiting for the rest of her friends to come by karaoking.
I didn't drink much as I'm pretty sure birthday girl will get drunk and I will have to drive her home later, since I come in her come so have to find someone else to send me back home. Her friend sent me back that night.
ANyway, it was fun birthday party for her and not exactly for me, cos I'm not familiar with her friends and her friends don't seem to be friendly. But I'm enjoying myself watching her get high with the alcohol and become so loud! All the shit words comes out from her mouth whenever she speaks. Hehehe...
Thanks to Irene Law I get this free facial treatment at I De Beauty. I was suppose to go as blogger but I didn't get to take any photos cos they do not allowed it. So let me just share my experience which worth rm250...;)
I make appointment for friday 10am but they change to 11am for me which is find for me cos I woke up late..too tired bcs of the waiting on the interview day. As usual, they started with consultation 1st then followed by UV scan to check you skin condition. My skin does not have much problem, just some blackhead and whitehead on the nose. My most concern area is my eyes area. Tired eyes with dark eye circle, thanks to FBing and blogging. Hahahaha... I was surprise to see there are quite a number of treatment room in that small space. Well...it looks small but it is not. So I was ask to change into towel, taking of my top and are half naked. But the towel is so comfortable, feels like sleep again. Huhuhu...
I was asked to lie face down on the bed to start with 10 minutes of back massage. It is sooooo comfortable. After that only proceed with facial. I top up rm100 for laser eye treatment cos I never do any treatment for my eyes. I do not have much to extract so the extraction process is a fast one. The facial treatment process is something like this; make up removing, deep cleansing, extraction (minus the steaming process cos they apply a lotion which can help to soften the dirt on the face), eyebrow trimming, eye treatment (optional), face massage, shoulder massage then mask. This is as far as I can remember cos I fall asleep in between. Well, facial treatment is for you to relax so lie down, clear ur mind, then relax. Sleep....hehehehe
You can sign up for packages available but because I'm an officially jobless, so she doesn't pushed me to buy any packages. For more info, u can go to this page.
I just had my teaching interview yesterday. Of cos I'm nervous.
Woke up as early as 5.30am to make sure I arrive the interview place, BahagianTeknologiPendidikanNegeri at KotaSamarahan, before 8am. I expect only a few of us but quite surprise to the number of people that are already waiting when I arrived. Was so happy to meet some friends, Ambrose, Kris, Azyan, Ming Hua and Christine, then I won't be too nervous.
We start with short briefing then followed by Insak (InventoriSahsiahKeguruan) test which tested our ethic. 135 objective questions in 30min. U don even have time put down ur pencil.
I'm done with the test at 10am, so from that time on, I waited for my interview turn until 4pm! My turn is 30 out of 52 candidates. My friend, Christine turn is 52. Imagine me 30 being interviewed at 4pm, so how bout her? The waiting is tiring and the weather is so hot that my head start to trob.
So how was my interview? - I wouldn't say that I'm the best but I believe that I've done my best. Most important is it is not them who control the interview but it is me who control the interview flow. Why would I say that is because I feel my most confident self ever in there! I can't believe how confident I was. I was being ask about my co-curriculum during school time (which I'm proud to talk about cos I'm really active during school time) and also activities in university (which I try to fast forward cos I'm not active in any club..lol).
Then they ask me about Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran Sains dan Matematik dalam Inggeris (PPSMI). The main topic is this but they keep on asking me questions ftom my explaination. I feel confident for question which ask about my opinion. As long as it's not about facts or else, for sure I will come out from the room which sour face and watery eyes. I would condesider myself to be lucky cos I was asked something that I'm familiar with. This PPSMI is my Final Year Project title.
Then they asked me about the latest issue in education and the only thing that come into my mind is Marina Undau's case. At 1st, they try to test me by saying 'that's not the issue'. I was surprise at 1st but I continue to explain what I understand and what I read from the paper. They are impress! ;) So overall I feel really good about this interview. However, I do not expect myself to get the post cos u never know whether U will pass ur Insak test or not. Huhuhuhu
I think most of u who read news paper last week are aware of Marina Undau's case whose application to enter matriculation was rejected for the reason that she's not a Bumiputera. To make the story short, the main issue here is the recognition of a person's status whether he/she is a Bumiputera based on his/her parents race. For so many years, we regard our race based on the father's race. Maybe when the Article in the Federal Constitution was created, it was mean to protect the priviledge or benefits of the local Bumiputera. So now that mixed marriage become a common issue, this Article 161a should be review.
However, race should not be an issue for Marina to be qualified to enter matriculation. She has obtained 9As 1B in her SPM so why consider her race when her result should be a big tick for her qualification.
Why am I talking about this issue is not only because I'm quite upset about it, but also because I've just read an article about 1Malaysia concept being introduce by our Prime Minister, YAB Dato Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak.
I am preparinfg for my interview tomorrow so just wanted to equip myself with any current isssue.
Back to 1Malaysia, there are 8 main values mentioned which are (in BM):
Two main principles are Togetherness and Sense of belonging.
Based on meritocracy, Marina should be qualified for matriculation and by rejecting her application based on her race, it is somehow contrasting with the principle of 1Malaysia.
Malas mau cakap banyak, mmg dah byk pun...hahaha...
Hope amendment will be made in order to avoid any futher issues.
All Saint's Day (1 Nov) is to celebrate the Saints while All Soul's Day (2 Nov) is to remember the soul that has left this world.
Went back to kampung on the All Saint's Day to visit my granpa grave since it's on Sunday and we can't go back kampung on All Soul's day on the next day. The last time I went back is during Gawai and it feels like so long I have not step into my kampung. Everyone that saw me say I'm fat. ??!! Whatever...;p

Sorority Row Cinema: MBO With: Cynthia Carol says: Ok ok lah...expected story line with unexpected murderer.
Surrogates Cinema: LFS With: Dear Carol says: Nice one. A good imagination. Pandorum Cinema:MBO With: Cousins Carol says: BORING!!!! The storyline is toooo dragging that I fall asleep almost for half of the movie.
Jennifer's Body Cinema: MBO With: Cousin and her friend Carol says: I've been waiting for this movie cos I wanted to know whether Megan can really act. My say would be she flaunt her body more than showing her acting. If u have read my last post, u will know that I hate Megan Fox. The 2nd artist that I hate (1st is Fasha Sandha). *I was suppose to watch this with Ken but I was busy at work and my bf pick me up at 7pm! Bring him makan and send him back to uni so i was sooooo late. Feel so sorry that I was late and Ken was at Star at 8.30pm when I was just reaching home that time.

They have sexy dance performance too which I reckon suppose to be pole dancing since they are dancing near the pole. But are not actually pole dancing. U get what I mean? Girls, go for pole dancing class before u hit the pole.
The 2nd or 3rd day I work, the hairstylist at my working place showing this hairshow ticket to my boss, Shan Shan. She's not interested to go but I am..so few days after that, she brings another ticket for me. It is not free, it's rm100.
It is sound expensive, but the event includes meal, 2 cans of beer, and door gift. So everything that u get on that day worth more than RM100.
So the event start with dance performance, followed by hair show promoting EZO new hair color series. In the same time, presenting Mr.Lee, a well known Taiwan hairstylist doing demo on stage.
Next is the punk hair competition in which the contestants were given 5min to get their hair style ready.

Last few days, I received email from Rozalynn, person in charge of Youth Marketing in Digi. It's regarding the BEP meet & greet pass that I've won but couldn't claim for it for reason stated in my last post.
In order to make up for the disappointment, they gave me a BEP “The E.N.D” CD (autographed by will.i.am, Taboo & apl.de.ap) + a set of red, green & yellow BEP t-shirts.
I was sooooo happy and couldn't help but to smile like crazy people.
I didn't mention about this to anyone cos thinking that I might be disappointed again.
This morning, while at work, staff from CityLink call me regarding parcel from Digi. I was like "it's here!!".The person called up to double check my address and their centre happen to be near my working place. So after lunch, I walk over to pick up the parcel myself. ;)
still sweating from the 15min walk crossing the road to CityLink behind Hock Lee centre
3 Tshirts (red,green and yellow) + THE E.N.D cd
After the parcel is in my hand, then only I ask my friends who won the pass too..but apparently, they did not receive any email from Digi. Then only I realise, how did they get my email?
So I ask Rozalynn and she explained that they came across my blog on the BEP post. In order to make up for it, they give me the CD and Tshirt instead. ;)..
At 1st, I thought they get my number from the information they obtained for me being the Advisor for UNIMAS Digi Yellow Army...tapi bukan pula...
