Christmas Celebration

We had an open house on the Christmas day itself. Last year, we cater for the food (and end up with toooooo much left over), this year we cater a few and cook some of them. It was super tiring!! The shopping just felt like never ending, and I have to wait for payday in order to have the money to shop. So I have to squeeze together with all the people who are doing their last minute shopping. It was stressful and frustrating! I hate to go to places with so many people around. It drives me mad. (Oh, how impatient I am). We went to Boulevard Kuching on the Christmas eve to buy the wet stuff and all other stuff for the food. I just could not understand why does some people just do not know how to park their car well. There were so many cars plate number being announced throughout the day. The management itself should be stricter in controlling the parking area. What is the clamping zone for if no action is taken for cars that parked there?! Damn I hate going to Boulevard! (I was there because of my mom)

Thanks to my dear Cynthia, she helps us a lot in the kitchen. She cooks the sweet and sour chicken, mix vege making the 'ulam'. I did the sambal but I forgot to blend together the anchovies a.k.a 'ikan pusuk', hahaha...but still it taste fine.  It was raining whole day! Some places was hit by flash blood. I left my house around 4pm and went to Stakan to visit  Cynthia's bro's house. We eat and eat and eat. Then we went over to John's house for awhile before driving back home. It rain so heavily with strong wind that we are all soak up when we step out of the car! I was so busy the whole day that I didn't manage to take any photo at my house. :-( Huhuhu...

Eventful year

Every year is just another moment of life that we live in. 2011 has been eventful for me. The year started with a slower me in which I soon diagnose with ovarian cyst around feb. Then I was on leave for 1 month, so my working engine slowed down so much. When I get back to work, things are all so blurry to me. I can even forget what I usually did last year.

Starting from May, I slowly pick up the pace and things went on much smoother and more energetic me. I'm glad all that is planned was carried out well, not so smooth but I manage to go through it. Some was left undone because too many things have to be put first.

At the end of the year, things back to slower pace with me not planning for any vacation. I fly too many times this year, even though just flying home, but the cost of my air ticket has tripled from last year. So I decided not to go on anymore vacation at the end of the year. Yeah, it was quite a boring holiday for me even though I move a lot throughout Kuching city itself. But I love the feel of going to a new place and have new things to talk about to my friends. I love to talk so I need new stuff to talk about. So I was actually hoping myself is at somewhere new on vacation instead of roaming around Kuching city.

In 8 more days, I will soon find out my new year task. Will it be tougher than this year? Will I be super busy? Super stress? We'll just wait and see. Hope nothing too tough though. Soon, I will be back to my cikgu person, and no more lazying around and waking up at 8 or 9. Not even waking up at 6 or 7am when school start! It would be 5.30am the latest..Wa!! Panda eye for sure!! My sleeping time, earliest is 12am..huhuhu..Mommy...x wana go to school!! (Kalah budak2)

Wish you a blessed new year ahead, may u be granted with good health, good job prospect, good love life, good relationship with the people around. May life treat you better than this year. Pray for the best. Let us try to be positive (an advice for myself too!), look for the positive reason on why things happen the way it is. :)

Hotspring

Heard of Anah Rais Hotspring before? It was situated somewhere at Padawan area. For more info, just google for it. ;)

My family and a few friends went to Anah Rais Hotspring yesterday. For 1st timer, the journey felt so long. Winding road, with green scenery all the way.

Once arrive, you will see the long house first before you drive to another smaller road heading to the hotspring. Entrance fees is RM5 for adult, RM3 for children. You can bring along your food as there is no charges for it. (Some place charge you for the food you bring)

We find a nice spot, near to one of the hotspring 'well' and preparing for BBQ.

The hot water came out from anywhere. The whole river is normal cool water but at some spot, hot water came out from between the rocks. You can see the bubble of hot water. :) This cement sitting is build around the hot water area.

Women and make up

Make up are synonym with women. Every women for once, in their life time, will have that day where they will have to put on their make up. It may be on their wedding day, or going for an annual dinner, or just taking a family potret. Every women on earth should know the basic of make up. With Internet, you can browse through youtube to find make up tutorial video. Learn the basic technique, know you skin color, buy your own foundation that matches your skin. You have to own at least a foundation, compact powder, mascara, lipstick, and eyeliner. So, whenever you have a function, u may not know how to do your own make up or just do not have the time to do so, you can go to the salon, and bring your own make up.

Foundation is the most important item that you must be careful of. For some salon, they only have a few foundation in which they might not match your skin tone, and you may end up with a white mask, and no time to fix. This happen to a friend of mine. Her make up was the most horrible make up I have ever seen in my whole life!! White face, with pale eyeshadow, no mascara, no eyeliner, no falsie for a dinner make up?! My gosh! If I wasn't bz on that day, I may help her to fix a bit. Oh, not forgetting the fine tiny eyebrow is a total disaster!!

I told everyone that I don't do anyone's make up for function that I'm attending cos I myself need sometime to do my own make up. I'm not an expert, so every time I did my make up is always an experiment stage for me. I may not be super confident of the choice of eyeshadow that I use, or the combination that I apply.

What I wanted to say is that we must be responsible for our own look. Buy those basic make up items, and learn to do daily light make up. From there, you may up the notch to more intense make up look. Practise does make perfect. :)

Bad Hair Month

I'm coming into the stage where I just do not know how to deal with my hair anymore. They grew long but became limpy. I started to lose my hair n d head scalp is visible. Being bald at the age of 25???!! No no no!!!

I had never been this clueless on fixing my hair. I need to get a new haircut before the new year came. Even better if I can get it fix before xmas...huhuhu..hair dye? perm? straighten? pixie cut? bob cut? just a trim? argh!!!!! I can't make up my mind. I'm totally clueless.

For now, I'd tie up my hair in pony tail or a simple bun and use my colorful headband to cheer things up. Or I might look so aunty-like.

Hampeh tul!

Ni perbualan di antara sepasang suami isteri. Jawapan si suami byk d pengaruhi oleh minat beliau mbaca majalah Ujang.

Situasi A:
Dalam kereta, si suami duduk di belakang dan si isteri duduk d depan, dan kereta dipandu oleh kawan si isteri. Sambil si isteri melahap rojak dalam kereta, si suami pun xnak rugi lalu mmanjangkan tangan dari belakang dan mcucuk ke timun dalam rojak tersebut mgunakan toothpick yang disediakan.
Isteri: B (panggilan manja si suami), kalau sos rojak ni kena baju kucing peberat sy ni, paham2 sja lah (dgn harapan si suami akan membeli tshirt kucing yang baru sekiranya malang tidak berbau dan sos tkena baju).
Suami: Ala...kan tadi dah beli omo (serbuk pcuci baju), ah, ko rendam lah guna 10kg omo tu pun aku x kisah.
Isteri: (dlm hati) Hampeh tul!!

Situasi B:
Isteri: pa kmu rasa kalau kita ada anak nanti?
Suami: Rasa.............rasa sayang hey! Rasa sayang sayang hey! (mnyanyi)
Isteri: Hampeh tul!!!

I'm addicted to...Sereni and Shentel headband..;p.

I only knew about this headband in April. During my 1 month MC. I met them during a party at Four Point Sheraton Kuching. I didn't know who they are, so they appear to me as two rich people talking next to my table. Only until my friend came and tell me about them.

So I went back home, search the web and found their website. My 1st reaction was, "omg!! so expensive!! For a headband cost you more then Rm50!!". That was then, now I have 5 headband d. Hahaha..

I don't go and buy all the headband or whenever they came out with new headband. Only those that are unique and really caught my attention will be in my wishlist. Hahaha..(All are unique, all caught my attention tho, but still, be rational Carol!) You are not daughters of Kimora Lee Simmon that you could purchase it all (y Kimora? Bcs I love her! Hehehe)

I started to gila headband after I bought the 1st one. Not only from Sereni and Shentel, but also from other shops and other website too. :) They are just too irresistible!! So cute!!

Baru i perasan, kali terakhir aku mblogkan diri ialah bulan april. Thanks to the "superb" line connection, aku telah tputus hubungan dgn blog yang ku sayangi ini.

Kesian i mlihat keadaan blog ini yang suatu ketika dahulu menjadi tempat aku bporet. Tapi sejak melangkah ke dunia pkerjaan, tmbh2 lgi kja d tmpt yg skadar line gprs, hubungan kami bdua (aku n blog lah), telah mnjadi smakin regang.

Cubaan mngeblog mgunakn tablet pun x bjaya krana kpayahan mnaip mgunakan sentuhskrin (touchscreen, :p). Sejak aku mbeli hp touchscreen, dh msk dua bulan dh aku pakai, blm lgi wujud nya prasaan cinta dan kasih kepada hp touchscreen ini. Hati ku ttp setia kpd hp qwerty. Mesti merasa tekan2 keypad baru feel. Tambah2 lagi aku ni mmg kaki texter. Dulu punya laju aku taip, skrg punya laju aku asyik tekan butang delete. Adehai..Tmbh2 lagi kwn kblur-an x phm apa ntah yg aku taip, lagi lah hati aku panas mbara. Stakat ni hp samsung ni blm mrasa lagi ditikam n dilambung ke dinding oleh aku, so msh slmt dan moga pjg umur lh hp ni. Ah! Tserlah keperibadian ku yg krg mnyabar. Mmg btl sebetul2 nya, aku mmg krg pnyabar. Ntah mcmana lah aku blh jdi cikgu. Tahan juga aku ye sbb nk 2 tahun dh aku jd warga pendidik. Eseh..pendidik u...

Bah..moga dlm sbulan cuti ini, aku nk kembali mngeblog dan m'aktifkn dunia imaginasi aku. Moga jus kreatif dan merapu akan trs mngalir dlm otak ini. Ade lagi ker pbaca blog aku??
